Despite the challenges of the last year, our business has gone from strength to strength. The acquisition of Microserve by Investis Digital has opened the door to varied and ambitious projects with many world-renowned clients. It is an exciting period of growth.

Investis Digital specialises in corporate and investor relations websites for many businesses listed within the FTSE 100, and has created its own Drupal-based product named Connect.ID to serve these clients. Connect.ID provides developers with the tools to build new websites quickly and efficiently by reusing common components and features.

We are looking for talented front-enders with or without Drupal experience who can join our expanding development team to help deliver new websites using Connect.ID to our client base. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside great talent in one of the largest teams of accredited Drupal developers in the UK.

Our process

If your skills and experience match what we are looking for, we’ll get in touch to arrange a short informal pre-interview chat where we can find out more about you and whether you are a good cultural fit for our team and whether one of the roles in our team is a good fit for you.

Based on the outcome of the informal chat, we would then arrange a virtual interview with two or three of our team. You’ll be able to find out more about the Investis Digital Bristol team and ask any questions you may have about the role.

About the role

You'll be responsible for taking designs and turning them into polished websites for high profile clients using the Connect.ID platform.

You'll be involved in a variety of projects each with particular challenges and problems to solve. You'll join a friendly, supportive and talented team with diverse experience, and will also work closely with the Connect.ID product team to ensure that any issues or challenges solved in delivery are correctly fed back into the product.

You may take a lead role on projects, seeing them through to completion, as well as providing support and guidance to less experienced members of the team along the way.

Your day to day tasks will involve:

  • Identifying requirements and planning out the technical approach to implement the right solution for our clients
  • Creating, expanding or modifying Connect.ID components to match design and functionality provided by the design team

  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest development trends and introducing new technologies where relevant and appropriate
  • Providing support and maintenance for our clients' existing websites
  • Supporting other members of the Investis Digital development team through training, code review and knowledge shares

From time to time, you'll also:

  • Contribute to website audits, providing clients with a thorough analysis of their website's user interface and front-end architecture, including recommendations to reduce technical risk and improve efficiency
  • Take an active role in team meetings where we discuss web development technologies and approaches to Drupal development and process improvement
  • Contribute modules and patches to the open source community
